ARLINGTON, Wash. — A driver was arrested after a fatal, multi-car crash on I-5 near Arlington on Tuesday night.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. at milepost 207.
Officials said the crash involved three cars and the causing driver is currently in custody.
Washington State Trooper Jacob Kennett tweeted that there is no detour in place yet and asks drivers to avoid the area while crews work to clear the roadway.
As of 7 p.m., the left lane was open to traffic.
