According to documented requests, the Department of Homeland Security is looking to purchase new equipment for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents across the country: taser gloves.

The documents show the department expects to spend between 10 and 20 million to equip agents.

The gloves may be on agents’ hands by March of 2027.

ICE did not respond to our request for comment on whether Seattle residents should expect the gloves to be used in their city.
