A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life in a hospital after losing control of his car on icy roads in Auburn, according to sources close to the family.
The teen was driving from a mechanic shop to check on his car, which he planned to sell later that day to help his family.
About an hour before the scheduled sale, he lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions and crashed.
The crash has placed a significant financial strain on his single mother, who has had to stop working to support him while also caring for her younger daughter.
