AUBURN, Wash. — All eastbound lanes of state Route 18 were blocked after an injury crash near Auburn.
The lanes reopened at about 11:35 a.m. on Monday.
At 10:39 a.m. on Monday, Valley Regional Fire Authority tweeted that the two-vehicle crash happened just east of the Auburn Black Diamond exit.
The crash happened on a bridge over the Green River and appeared to involve a passenger car and a box truck.
How many people were hurt and the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
At11:22 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation said the backup extended five miles past the state Route 167 junction.
