KENT, Wash. — Kent police responding to a report of a shooting found a man dead in a car on Thursday morning, according to a Facebook post from the Kent Police Department.

Around 6 a.m. on Thursday, Kent police responded to a call of a shooting along Green River Road.

When officers arrived, they found a dead 44-year-old man inside a car along side the road.

Auburn police had heard reports of an illegal discharge in the area, however investigators are unsure if that report is associated with this shooting incident.
