KING COUNTY, Wash. — This weekend and next week King County will be distributing free pet food at two different locations.
Several national charities have donated, and the Regional Animal Services of King County is working with public and private organizations to distribute pet food through their mobile pet food banks.
On Saturday, July 18, the mobile pet food bank will be in the parking lot of the empty Greater Hi Lands strip mall on Sunset across the street from Grocery Outlet. This will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 2842 Nebraska Sunset Blvd. in Renton.
On Wednesday, July 22, the mobile pet food bank will be at 8703 160th Avenue Northeast in Redmond from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Owners should be ready to share the number of pets (dogs or cats) they have along with their ZIP code.
Also, the county said people are more than welcome to pick up pet food for other people who may need assistance.
