KING COUNTY, Wash. — Calling all bookworms! The King County Library System is now offering its annual summer reading program.
In the program, readers track the number of minutes they read until August 31. Whether from a book or audiobook.
There are sections for newborns to age five, kids age five to 12, and teens and adults.
Book goers can track their reading by visiting a community library and getting a Reading Challenge log, printing a copy of the Reading Challenge log, or creating an account on the library’s challenge site, Beanstack.
After tracking the amount read, participants can then earn prizes for reaching their goals. For more information go here.
