BURIEN, Wash. — One person is dead after the Burien Police Department responded to a shooting early Sunday morning near First Avenue.
The shooting occurred at about 4 a.m., and the victim was driven to St. Anne Hospital, according to an email from the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).
The KCSO Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident. KIRO Newsradio confirmed with KCSO that no arrests have been made at this time.
Authorities said the incident was contained and there is no current danger to the public.
