SEATTLE — A shooting in Lake City on Sunday night, just before 11 p.m., has left one person dead, according to a tweet from the Seattle police.
911 callers reported a series of shots near an apartment building in the 12700 block of 33rd Avenue NE, where a security guard found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Officers responding to the call attempted to save the 28-year-old man’s life, but he died at the scene.
The homicide is the fourth shooting death in Seattle this weekend, after three people were killed early Sunday morning.
