Large PVC fire in Puyallup visible for miles

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Crews from the Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and Graham Fire & Rescue battle a large fire in Puyallup.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, crews responded to a call of an outdoor fire at 18406 118th Avenue Court East in Puyallup.

When crews arrived they found a large pile of PVC piping on fire.

Residents in north Thurston County could see the smoke billowing high into the sky.

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue stated that Graham Fire & Rescue, along with the facility staff, successfully extinguished the fire.

There were no injuries to be reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
