Seattle Police bike officers arrested a suspected drug trafficker in Belltown on Sunday afternoon, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The arrest followed a surveillance operation where officers witnessed a series of narcotics transactions by the suspect.
The operation began around 1:30 p.m., and after observing the suspected drug dealing, bike officers moved to arrest the individual.
After a brief foot chase, patrol officers helped take the 66-year-old suspect into custody.
He was found to be in possession of a loaded .45 caliber firearm.
A search of the suspect yielded 27.1 grams of methamphetamine, 19 grams of fentanyl (including 4.3 grams of powder and an unspecified quantity of blue M30 pills), 1.0 gram of crack cocaine, three digital scales, and $638 in cash.
The suspect, who is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms, was booked into King County Jail.
He faces charges of unlawful possession of narcotics, unlawful possession of a firearm, and obstructing a public officer.
