EVERETT, Wash. — A lane on the US 2 Trestle Bridge in Everett was closed Monday morning because of a log jam.
Excavators needed a lane in order to clear the jam from the top.
Debris was washed down the Snohomish River during heavy rains last week and into this weekend.
There was worry the logs could damage highway pillars.
It’s not the first time a jog jam has happened there.
In October, crews cleared a similar, but larger jam.
