Lyft, Uber offering discount on rides to, from transit hubs to alleviate viaduct closure congestion

Lyft and Uber will both be offering a discount on all shared rides to and from transit hubs to alleviate congestion from the Alaskan Way Viaduct closure.

Lyft's  $2.75 discount begins Dec. 10 and runs through Feb. 15, 2019, to and from the following transit hubs:

  • Burien Transit Center
  • Northgate Transit Center Park & Ride
  • Olson Place & Myers Way Park & Ride (South Park/Delridge)
  • Columbia City Station
  • Mt. Baker Station
  • Othello Station
  • Rainier Beach Station
  • Tukwila International Boulevard Station
  • University of Washington Station
  • West Seattle Water Taxi

Uber is offering a $2.75 discount to and from nine light rail stations and the following transit hubs from Dec. 10 through Feb. 15:

  • Northgate Transit Center
  • West Seattle water taxi at Seacrest Dock
  • Burien Transit Center
  • University of Washington Station
  • Beacon Hill Station
  • Mount Baker Station
  • Columbia City Station
  • Othello Station
  • Rainier Beach Station
  • Tukwila International Boulevard Station
  • SeaTac Airport Station
  • Angle Lake Station
