PACIFIC, Wash. — Multiple lanes of State Route 167 just south of Ellingson Road in Pacific are currently blocked due to what the Washington State Department of Transportation is calling a “major collision.”
The southbound lanes are fully blocked with traffic getting by in the right shoulder. The HOV and left lane were blocked northbound, but WSDOT announced that all northbound lanes had reopened around 5:30 p.m.
WSDOT said the closure is expected to last a while and suggests drivers use alternate routes and expect delays.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson, troopers learned that the crash happened when a semi truck tipped over while driving through a curve.
