BELLEVUE, Wash. — A suspected burglar was arrested in Bellevue after a three-hour standoff, according to the Bellevue Police Department.
The 44-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast early Friday morning.
Homeowners received an alert from their Ring camera that a man was holding a handgun with a rifle on his back.
With the help of King County’s Guardian One helicopter, Bellevue police located and contained the man.
The man was agitated and refused to give himself up to police for three hours.
Negotiators worked the scene until the man surrendered.
There were no injuries.
Officers recovered a semi-automatic rifle and an airsoft gun from the man.
