Man dies after losing control of vehicle on I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass

A man died in a fatal incident involving two cars near Snoqualmie Pass early Monday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

At about 4 a.m. on June 6, a man driving a Honda Civic eastbound on Interstate 90 lost control of his car, which rotated and came to a rest sideways.

A woman then struck her car into the driver’s side of the Honda Civic.

The 36-year-old man from Ellensburg died at the scene.

The injured woman was transported to Overlake Medical Center.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident was the result of driving at speeds too fast for the conditions.
