MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A man was hit by a car and killed over the weekend in Marysville, police said.
The accident happened around 12 a.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of 33rd Avenue NE.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies responded and found a man unresponsive in the road. The 59-year-old from Arlington died at the scene after officers preformed life-saving efforts.
The driver, a 49-year-old woman from Marysville, remained on scene and cooperated with detectives.
Detectives believe that the man was walking in a lane of the road when he was hit.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will ID the victim and determine cause and manner of death.
