BREMERTON, Wash. — Police are searching for a gunman after a shooting left one person injured Tuesday evening in Bremerton.
Before 8 p.m., several people called 911 to report gunshots and seeing people running away from a scene in the 1200 block of Park Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a car believed to be connected with the shooting leaving the area, police said.
Officers stopped the car and found a 20-year-old Port Orchard man with multiple gunshot wounds inside.
He was being taken to a hospital by friends.
When medics arrived at the scene, they took the man to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
After a search of the area, police were not able to find any suspects.
The investigation remains ongoing.
