BELLEVUE, Wash. — A man was injured and two families were displaced when a fire broke out at a Bellevue apartment complex early Saturday.
Around 7:30 a.m., officials with the Bellevue Fire Department said crews were at the scene of the fire on Bel-Red Road, located just south of Bellevue Highlands Park.
Officials said the fire was burning units on the first and second floors. Just before 7:45 a.m., officials said they found the man in the unit where the fire started and began performing CPR on him.
The fire was out around 7:48 a.m.
Bellevue fire said paramedics were able to find a pulse on the man and transported him to a nearby hospital.
The Red Cross was called in to help assist the displaced families. No other injuries were reported.
