Shooting in Tacoma turns into homicide investigation

TACOMA, Wash. — Police are investigating yet another fatal shooting in Tacoma that has resulted in the death of a 61-year-old man.

Officers were called at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday evening to the 7000 block of East B Street.

Police said they found an unresponsive man and began performing lifesaving measures.

The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died.

Police said the incident started as an argument that led to the shooting.

Police have not said if a suspect has been taken into custody.
