TACOMA, Wash. — A man was killed in a road rage shooting in Tacoma on Monday afternoon, police said.
Officials received 911 calls around 3:15 p.m. of a road rage incident at South 54th Street and Washington where shots were fired.
At 3:15 pm 911 received reports of a road rage incident at S 54th & Washington with shots fired. Both cars left. A passenger of the victim vehicle was shot & driven to the hospital. Both cars drove off, police said.
The driver of the victim car called 911 to report that a passenger in the backseat had been shot. She drove the 56-year-old male victim to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The driver and the male passenger in the front seat were uninjured.
Detectives are investigating.
