Man robs Chase bank in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO, Wash. — Mukilteo police officers are looking for a man who robbed a Chase bank in Mukilteo Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 3900 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest at 3 p.m.

Police said a man entered the bank, demanded money, and implied that he had a gun, though none was seen.

He left with cash and headed south from the bank.

A police K-9 was brought in to track the man, but he was not found. Officers requested a drone for an overhead search, but it couldn’t be deployed because of foggy conditions.

The robber is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a slender build, thin face and dark blond hair. He was wearing a baggy navy-blue hoodie, black cargo pants, black baseball cap, dark gloves and a gray face mask.

The Mukilteo Police Department is investigating the robbery in cooperation with the FBI.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the robbery and has additional information is asked to email crimetips@mukilteowa.gov.
