A Seattle Police Department employee was arrested in connection with a road rage shooting that left a man seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Federal Way, according to state patrol officials.
Troopers responded to a shooting on southbound I-5 at 320th Street around 1:20 p.m. The several of the right lanes were blocked by police vehicles and a fire truck, as seen on DOT cameras.
Detectives are in the way to the scene. Early information indicates that the incident started as a possible road rage. After both vehicles stopped, the suspect shot the victim after he exited his vehicle.

The 30-year-old male victim was shot in the chest and has serious injuries. He was considered stable when taken from the scene and is being transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
The suspect fled the scene in a black 2013 Mazda 3 after the shooting, police said.
Troopers said on Monday evening that they arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Investigators said the man is a Seattle Police Department civilian employee. He was arrested at his home and later booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of assault
