A man was shot in the back in a drive-by shooting outside a market in South Delridge in West Seattle on Monday. The incident occurred in the 9400 block of 16th Avenue Southwest.
Officers responded to 911 calls that a man had been shot shortly after 3 p.m. Witnesses said they saw a vehicle speeding away from the scene.
Police are still trying to put together a description of the vehicle as well as a suspect description.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
