RENTON, Wash. — A suspect accused of shooting a man in a Renton parking lot on June 2 was arrested Thursday, according to the Renton Police Department.
At about 6:30 p.m. on June 2, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of South Third Street.
Responding officers found a 28-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to a hospital with severe injuries.
The suspect in that shooting, identified by Renton police as DaJuan Smith, was arrested by the Valley SWAT team at a Lynnwood home on Thursday morning.
Smith was booked into the King County Jail for first-degree assault.
