SEATTLE, Wash. — A 37-year-old man is in the hospital fighting for his life after police say someone shot him in the stairwell of an apartment building.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Friday in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood at a building on Spring Street.
Police say someone found the man on the 13th floor with a gunshot wound to his hip and called 911.
Detectives are now working to learn what led up to the shooting.
No suspect is in custody at this time.
The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. Police say he is in serious condition.
