BOTHELL, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed Sunday in Bothell.

It happened near Beardslee Boulevard and 112th Avenue Northeast, across the street from Beardslee Public House. Police said reports about the stabbing started to come in shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Police said because a lot of people were in the area area when the stabbing occurred, witnesses helped police track down the suspect.

“(It) took a little while to locate exactly where he was, but once we made contact with him, he complied with all of our requests and demands, and was taken into custody without incident,” said Cam Johnson with the Bothell Police Department.

A 26-year-old man was arrested, police said.

It is not yet known what led to the stabbing.
