Man suspected of killing estranged wife in Bellevue bar held on $3 million bail

BELLEVUE, Wash. — The man suspected of shooting and killing his estranged wife inside Sam’s Tavern in Bellevue is being held on a $3 million bail, according to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

A judge found probable cause Wednesday for first-degree domestic violence murder and agreed to the bail amount. Jennings did not appear in court Wednesday.

The shooting happened the night of July 5. Officers found the 26-year-old woman, an employee of Sam’s Tavern, with a gunshot wound. She later died from her injuries.

Jennings was arrested shortly before midnight the same night.
