SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle police officers arrested a 21-year-old man accused of dealing drugs downtown after he tried to outrun them.
At about 8:45 p.m., officers watched the man do a hand-to-hand transaction. When they tried to arrest him, officers say he took off down the street, trying to throw possible evidence away as he ran.
When officers caught the man at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, they found about 25 grams of fentanyl powder on him, a folding knife, and more than $4000 in cash.
The man was booked into King County Jail.
