Marysville police respond to altercation between students

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Marysville police responded to a report of an assault between students at Marysville Pilchuck High School on Wednesday, according to the Marysville Police Department.

Around 10:43 a.m., Marysville police responded to a call of an assault in the 5600 block of 108th Northeast.

A juvenile man, who was later determined to be involved, was contacted by Marysville police off campus shortly after receiving the call.

The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Denny Juvenile Youth Center for an assault while brandishing a knife.

Marysville police believe the incident was isolated, concerning two near the parking lot and posing no danger to other students or staff.

There were no injuries.
