SEATTLE — Starting Thursday, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan will host a weekly series of virtual town halls to connect with residents and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the mayor’s office, this week Durkan will be joined by representatives from the Department of Neighborhoods, Office of Economic Development, Office of Labor Standards, Human Services Department, Office of Housing, Office of Sustainability & Environment, Seattle Public Utilities, and Seattle City Light.
After the town hall, a webinar will be available to give the community the opportunity to work with city departments learning about essential services, resources, and other support for residents and businesses.
Thursday’s town hall is from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Residents can join at this link.
In the coming weeks, the town hall will move to North, South and West Seattle.
