SEATTLE — A place that many Washingtonians and visitors go to daily near the Space Needle is closing its doors for good.
The McDonald’s on 5th Avenue in Seattle will shut its doors at midnight Friday.
The fast-food restaurant is going to be torn down so that a new nine-story office building with more than 100 parking spaces can be built.
The proposed project, once completed, is expected to “enhance the neighborhood,” according to developers.
