Metro transit is asking people to help decide where to build its new bus base in South King County.
This is where Metro plans to house and maintain 250 all-electric buses in just over a decade. The 20 possible sites have been narrowed down to three locations.
One is in Kent, and the other two are in Auburn. Metro plans to evaluate the three sites over the next year.
You can give feedback on the sites through an online survey here.
The three possible locations are:
- Kent: 25 to 38 acres at South 196th Street and 68th Avenue South.
- Auburn: 18 to 26 acres at South 277th Street and D Street Northeast.
- Auburn: 38 acres at 37th Street Northwest and B Street Northwest.
