Seattle police are searching for a missing 5-day-old baby girl who needs medication, officials said.
The girl has black hair and was last seen around 2:15 p.m. wrapped in a blue blanket with her mother, Andrea.

Officials said that Andrea left the hospital with the baby and went south on Cherry Street from Minor Avenue. Andrea possibly stays at an encampment in the Georgetown area, SPD said.
SPD said that the baby needs medication and the hospital and CPS had not released her to her mother due to concerns about the safety of her living situation.
Andrea is 31, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing a gray sweater, jeans and black shoes with white soles.
