SEATTLE — A 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman who was reported missing over the weekend was located in Seattle Thursday morning.
Jordan Lampus has been safely at Harborview Medical Center since 3 a.m., far from her home.
KIRO 7’s sister station WPXI spoke to her family earlier this week.
“Please just call us, just text us, just something to let us know where you are,” said her mother, Tina.
Lampus called 911 from Seattle’s Seward Park and told police that she had been assaulted. But how she got there remains a mystery.
She disappeared Friday from Erie, Pa., where she attends college.
On Monday, her car was spotted in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 1,400 miles from Erie. But she was nowhere to be found.
It’s not known when she arrived in Seattle, 1,200 miles from Cheyenne -- but it was the end of a trip that took her more than 2,600 miles away from her mom’s house, where she was expected home last weekend.
After locating Lampus today, Seattle Police say they searched Seward Park but found no assailant. And they have not opened a criminal investigation.
Her family says Lampus suffered a concussion last November, resulting in migraine headaches that she takes medicine for. Until police began investigating, her family didn’t know that she had not registered for classes last semester, and wasn’t showing up for her paralegal job.
