SEATTLE — A power outage in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood affected more than 3,500 customers Thursday, but that number has since gone down to 1,500.
Seattle City Light said the outage was caused by equipment failure.
Snow is falling in the area and temperatures are dropping, as it is expected to get very cold Thursday night.
Seattle City Light crews said they will be able to restore power to a “significant number” of customers throughout the evening, but power is expected to be fully restored by 1 a.m.
