Officials with the health authority said, “At this point, it’s a low probability.”
The health authority did not comment on if the patient came in from another country, where they are being tested, if they are quarantined, or the patient’s gender.
On Wednesday, Gonzaga University announced it would be suspending all classes at its study abroad program in Florence, Italy due to virus concerns.
All students studying in Florence were told to immediately return to their permanent residence in the U.S., not the Spokane campus, a release from the school said.
