WHITE CENTER, Wash. — Detectives with the King County Sheriff’s Office on Friday released video for the first time of a suspect on the night they say he murdered a man in White Center in 2017.
The suspect, Billy Dawayne Williams, remains at-large.
Deputies say Williams shot and killed 30-year-old James C. Little around 1:40 a.m. on May 7, 2017, outside Taradise bar.
According to detectives, the shooting happened just after a fight broke out between women outside of the bar.
Witnesses and surveillance video helped establish Williams, 32, as a suspect within one day of the initial investigation, deputies said.
A nationwide felony warrant was issued for Williams’ arrest on first-degree murder in May 2017, according to deputies.
“Detectives believe Williams may have altered his appearance to avoid arrest. Detectives also believe Williams has either remained in or visited the Puget Sound area since this murder,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office wrote in a news release.
Anyone with information on Williams’ location is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311 or by leaving an anonymous tip here.
