No one in custody after stabbing at Seattle’s International District Station

Seattle police are investigating a stabbing that happened at Seattle’s International District Station Tuesday morning, according to the Seattle Police Department.

At about 7:30 a.m., officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 400 block of South Jackson Street.

When they arrived, officers found a 36-year-old man with multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds.

According to Sound Transit, two passengers had exited the train while fighting. When they were both on the platform, one of them stabbed the other in the arm and the shoulder.

Officers provided aid until medics from the Seattle Fire Department arrived, who transported him to Harborview Medical Center.

The suspect fled the scene and was not found.

Police are investigating what led up to the stabbing.
