The Northshore School District's servers suffered a significant cyberattack last week, the district announced.

Many of the systems still remain compromised and the district anticipates that some may remain nonoperational for several more days. The district said the cyberattack happened Friday, Sept. 20.

There is no evidence that student, family or staff personal data has been compromised in the attack.

The Northshore School District covers parts of both King and Snohomish counties.

If you go to the front page of the district website, it says there is a server outage and provides a list of what services are down. The district said that ParentVue, StudentVUe, food service sale system and voicemail services are affected.

The district is working with police to decide how to proceed. The communications department for the district sent KIRO 7 this statement Tuesday morning:

<span class="wsc-grammar-problem" data-grammar-rule="EN_QUOTES" data-wsc-lang="en_US">"</span>The Northshore School District Technology Department learned that on Friday night, our servers were hit with a significant cyber attack that rendered many of our systems non-operational. Out of an abundance of caution, we shut down other systems to prevent additional impact. Examples of systems that are currently non-operational include student data and business systems as well as some phone and voicemail services.

To be clear, there is no evidence at this time that any student, family or staff data has been compromised. We are working with law enforcement and industry experts to continue investigating and to remedy the situation as quickly as possible, but anticipate that outages will likely be several days in duration.

Families and staff were notified on Saturday and updated on Sunday with steps they can take to communicate directly with their schools.

In the meantime, our Technology Department has been innovating and creating solutions that will support continued learning and business this week, as well as restore our technology and processes as soon as possible.<span class="wsc-grammar-problem" data-grammar-rule="EN_QUOTES" data-wsc-lang="en_US">"</span>
