An oil barge was stuck Saturday near Elliot Bay after the tide went out, causing the barge to touch the bottom and become stranded. The barge has 8,000 barrels of oil on board.
The area was boomed off. The Coast Guard said it has no indication that oil has spilled from the barge.
An incident management team was on scene assessing the situation.
