An RV driver was shot and killed Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. in Lake Forest Park.
Police describe it as a complicated crime scene that spanned multiple cities.
The incident also caused a head-on crash in the westbound lanes of Bothell Way near 145th Street, after the shooting took place in that area.
Video from a witness shows the RV with the driver shot inside speeding away from the scene. He ran over a median and crashed into a blue SUV.
The driver made it about a half mile away to a North Seattle neighborhood and stopped near Northwest 137th and 27th Streets. Investigators say he died at the scene.

“Seeing this is devasting and it just breaks my heart,” said Mikhail Zasimczuk, a neighbor in the area.
Our crews saw the RV windshield shattered with three bullet holes in North Seattle. There were also at least four shell casings at the Lake Forest Park scene.
“I’m definitely shaking, that’s scary,” said Marieke Lewis, another neighbor.
Lake Forest Police say that a tow truck as well as another truck were somehow involved in the incident. Investigators aren’t releasing information about the shooter but say that they are cooperating.
They have not yet been arrested.
It’s not clear how the RV driver was involved, or what led up to the shots being fired in Lake Forest Park during the tail end of morning rush hour.
“It’s a complicated scene, a scene extending through multiple jurisdictions so investigators are going to continue that good work,” said Captain Tim Meyer with the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Meanwhile, neighbors are shaken and questioning the safety of the area.
“This is broad daylight this happened. We literally walked by here earlier this morning, so to me that’s scary,” said Marieke Lewis, a neighbor in North Seattle.
“I know some things happening around Lake City happening are kind of weird,” said Mikhail Zasimczuk, another neighbor. “It’s like I don’t even want to go outside the house,” he said.
Lake Forest Park Lt. Diego Zanella also said there is someone involved in the chain of events who ran away from the Lake Forest Park scene as well as police.
