SILVERDALE, Wash. — A 70-year-old woman was hurt Friday when an SUV crashed through the wall of a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Silverdale.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. on Northwest Silverdale Way.
Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was knocked out of her chair when the SUV crashed through the glass.
One woman was injured when an SUV crashed through the wall of a Starbucks Coffee Shop in the 10700 block of NW Silverdale Way on Friday, January 10th.
Kitsap Fire and Rescue evaluated her at the scene, and she later drove herself to a hospital for further care.
Deputies say the driver of the SUV, an 83-year-old woman, didn’t know how the crash happened; she told them she was pulling into a handicapped stall outside of the store and then ended up inside of it.
No word whether she was cited for the crash.
