SEATTLE — One person was shot in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace on Sunday night, according to Seattle police, and a second was later dropped off at the hospital.
According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), officers responded to reports of shots fired along 10th Avenue South at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Arriving officers found one person who had been shot in the leg. While treating them, officers uncovered a loaded handgun in their possession.
Seattle Fire Department medics took the person to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
A short time later, a second person who had also been shot was dropped off at Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Police confirmed the first person was under the age of 18 and will be booked into the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center for unlawfully possessing a firearm.
