An out of service ferry is causing huge delays on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route Saturday.
Washington State Ferries pulled the ferry Walla Walla off the run Saturday because of a mechanical issue.
Several sailings were canceled as the route operated with just one boat, reportedly causing five hour delays in Edmonds at one point.
WSF ended up pulling the ferry Chimacum from the Bremerton-Seattle run and sending it over to the Kingston-Edmonds route until further notice.
