SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Snoqualmie Pass has reopened after being briefly closed Saturday morning for vehicle spinouts and poor weather conditions, WSDOT said.
The closure began around 8:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes at milepost 47, around 14 miles east of North Bend. The road reopened shortly after 9 a.m.
Drivers are still required to use traction tires as the area is expected to receive more snow throughout the day.
UPDATE: I-90 EB is back open at MP 47. It's still snowing and there is snow and slush on the roadway. Pls be prepared to drive in winter conditions in the mountain passes today.
