LYNNWOOD, Wash — After months of rehabilitation, PAWS in Lynnwood has nursed a malnourished bear back to health and she’s ready for release into the wild.
The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife is using relatively new technology to track the bear through her first year in the wild.
On KIRO 7 at 5:45pm, we show you the release - and how that technology is helping experts track the success of bears in their natural habitat. Watch with us on-air or here.
