GIG HARBOR, Wash. — A 65-year-old woman is recovering after being struck by a car Friday night in Gig Harbor.
Gig Harbor police said she was hit after 10:30 p.m. in the 9600 block of Burnham Drive while trying to cross the road.
The woman suffered critical injuries and was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital, police said.
Investigators said it was raining heavily at the time of the crash.
The driver was not impaired, police said.
Police and Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating.
