BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — A person was killed and two people were injured when a Bonney Lake mobile home burst into flames Thursday.
East Pierce Fire and Rescue officials said two people who were rescued were taken to Harborview with life-threatening injuries.
More than two dozen firefighters were sent to fight the fire at the mobile home in the 14700 block of Prairie Ridge Drive East.
Witnesses reported hearing explosions coming from the home during the fire, East Pierce Fire officials said.
The home is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Pierce County Fire Marshal's Office and the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
