The King County Warning Center issued a phase 3 flood alert for Snoqualmie River.

This means flooding is possible across low-lying areas of Snoqualmie Valley.

Fed by heavy and persistent rain throughout the Cascade foothills, the sum of the Snoqualmie River’s three forks was flowing at 21,960 cubic feet per second on Thursday afternoon.

At these flows, several roads could be overrun with water and close, including Fall City-Carnation Road, Tolt Hill Road Northeast and Northeast 124th Street.

KIRO 7 Meteorologist Nick Allard said that most lowland spots have seen the heaviest rain come and go, but that it will continue to rain in the mountains on Thursday afternoon.
